    The ACT Library Service is well run and modernised... The Zinio for Libraries online service that you can use on your own tablet from home is *fantastic*! An excellent and relevant service in the modern age, and a fantastic money saver!

    Last week I mentioned to my daughter from interstate that Kippax Library holds a reading and craft program for children aged between 2 and 5 years on a Wednesday morning between 10.30 and 11.30am. My granddaughter Hailey 5 overheard the conversation and straight away wanted to go to the "liberry" - she was so excited she told us she wouldn't be able to sleep and would we be going before or after breakfast. On Wednesday morning she was jumping up and down with excitement and wanted to know if they also sang songs which I told her yes they did and that the Hokey Pokey was often one of them. She said she knows that song and began to teach 3 year old Taylor before we left for the library. Both Hailey and Taylor had a fantastic time at the library last Wednesday morning and proudly wore their craft headbands to Kippax shops afterwards. To top off the story time, the Hokey Pokey was also sung! Good on Lovely Library Storytime Reader Lyn and the others at Kippax Library!!
